MS Ultrasound elective
Fourth year medical students interested in taking an Emergency Ultrasound elective should contact Dr. Casey Wilson (Casey_Wilson@Teamhealth.com) or Kathy Kearney (Kathryn.Kearney@hcahealthcare.com) for scheduling availability. This elective involves functioning at the level of an EM intern with hands on experience, serving as the “ultrasound consultant” on shift with our PD and APD’s, as well as simulation time.

Every month, the Emergency Ultrasound faculty and fellows run a 4-hour simulation session for EM-basic clerkship and EM sub-intern students in the Simulation Lab focused on the E-FAST and US-guided vascular access.
